You won’t recognize me now
No clouds of grey and black smoke
No piles of garbage at every corner
No putrid and decaying smell of chemicals or mass horror
No plastics piling up in forests or arbour
Cause there has been a ‘Change’!
As the Covid19 virus multiplied
It spread across the Earth
In minutes, hours and days
Being nefariously friendly, it slays
Like nine pins people fell
Left, right and centre, where it stays.
Doors and windows were locked
To keep the virus blocked
Locked in! Locked down!
The streets were barren
The mills all ground to a halt
No kids in schools, No people out at all!
Left on my own
Finally!
I healed my heart and all around
The trees, forests, wildlife, all came alive
Finally!
The air, water, soil, pure and pollutant free
Finally!
